Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs is a charity that collects bread tags from all over Australia. These are recycled in Robe, SA. Money raised through recycling and donations is used to buy wheelchairs, mainly in South Africa. Over the last 5 years, the charity has recycled more than 12 tonnes of bread tags in the last three years and funded 94 wheelchairs as well as a program for disabled people in PNG. The current recycling rate is 250kg of tags per month.
